Modelling Bongo 3
|

Just the same way, extrude and scale vertices to deform the dorsal fin and
to build the tail.

|
Extrude and scale to make the ribs shape.

|
|
Select the fore fin and "SHIFT+D" duplicate.
Move the duplicated fin to the end of the Bongo's body and weld by hand its vertices with the body's vertices (SHIFT+rightclick - Remove Doubles). Move the hind fin's vertices to have a different shape. |

Go out of "Edit Mode", be sure the cursor is in the middle of the mesh (SHIFT+S - Curs -> Sel)
and that "Rotation/Scaling Pivot" in the bar under the 3d window is in "3d Cursor" mode
(the second from the top).
In "Edit Mode" again select all the vertices (A) and press "SHIFT+D",
then M and mirror the duplicated vertices along the X axe (or the Bongo's lenght perpendicular axe,
anyway).
Reselect all the vertices and press the "Remove Doubles" button.
Well, we can do a first rendering of the model... |
