Modelling Bongo 4
Positionate the cursor to the place where the mouth articulation should be. Select the vertices of the lower jaw and assign them to a "vertex group". Rotate (R) the selection around the cursor (I placed an "Empty", in a different layer, to remember the exact cursor location) to open the mouth.
Select the border's vertices of the mouth, then press W and choise "Select swap".
Press H to hide the selected vertices. Perfect! Now we can work easily on the inside of the mouth.
Select only the inner vertices and extrude them back, twice.
Extrude the end of the new faces scaling only on one axe (S > X two times) in front view (NUMPAD1), to close the inside of the mouth. Select all and press "Remove Doubles". Extrude the tongue and adjust.
