I live in Italy.
I graduated at Liceo Artistico Statale in Verona (Italy) and I have been student of illustrator and painter Giorgio Scarato.
By working since 1988 as freelance illustrator for advertising and publishing, I mastered traditional painting techniques (pastels, inks, gouaches, acrilics, ecoline, watercolors, oils, airgraph, mixed media) and later also computer graphic.
I have been teaching illustration and graphic techniques ("Centro Studi Andrea Palladio" graphic institute, "Scuola di fumetto La Galerìe", C. F. P. Istituto Canossiano and Centro Servizi Formativi Istituto Antonio Provolo in Bovolone, Verona - Italy).
In 2005 I won the Blender's Suzanne Awards for "Best Animation, original idea and story" with the animation "New Penguoen 2.38".
In 2006 I joined for the two last weeks of production the Orange Team in Amsterdam, to help in finalizing the shots of the first opensource cg animated short movie "Elephants Dream".
In 2007 I've been selected as Lead Artist to be in the team for the project "Peach", spending six months at the "Blender Institute" in Amsterdam to realize the second opensource cg animated short movie "Big Buck Bunny".
I'm a Blender certified trainer: Blender Foundation Trainer Certificate.
In 2008 I worked for two months at "Spark Digital Entertainment" in Rome as Lead Artist, to realize an advertisement for CNIPA made in Blender.
In 2009 I collaborated with Spark D.E. again to realize a promotional dvd for Zuccari; the same year I realized the testimonial character Redy for "Red tv".
At the end of 2009 I collaborated one more time with Spark to realize the Christmas greetings spot for "Enel".
Currently, I'm still collaborating with italian publishers, especially Mondadori Ragazzi as cover artist.
