Ink Heart

Some proposal for the cover of "Ink Heart" by Cornelia Funke, again a fantasy blockbuster (actually, a trilogy about a man with the power to bring out living characters from books by reading them aloud).

The publisher's choise. The complex plate ornaments of the armour have been rendered in Blender (a bump map on a roughly shaped mesh) and overlayed on the digital painting.
